The history of Levi’s begins in San Francisco, California in 1853 and its birth is due to the passion for practicality of the founder Levi Strauss. Born in 1829 in Buttenheim, Bavaria, he came to America to work with his brothers in the goods trade when he noticed the need of workers for more durable work clothes that were also flexible to use.
